I was able to visit the USA in August/September 2014. Staying with my great friend Bill (Brickmaker & fellow Artist) in Hampton Virginia. Just at the start of the Fall over there, so the colours were stunning. The expance and flatness of the shallow creeks were a challenge and I was determined to work smaller if I could. I continued with my use of Oil Pastel, which I had rediscovered in my work in France.
